Welcome to LodgingGuide's hospitality industry listings for the Colorado Springs - Pueblo area.
Colorado Springs is the town next to Pike's Peak, the site of a major gold rush in the mid-1850s, most noted for its
spectacular Rocky Mountain scenery. Just 10 minutes from downtown is Seven Falls, a series of solid granite steps where
absolutely clear water cascades into a canyon. A 14-story elevator has been carved in the granite to transport visitors to
the Eagle's Nest for observation, and at night, the canyon is lit up just enough to continue enjoying the view without the
sun. Rare birds, other wildlife and Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep are visible everywhere. Garden of the Gods is another city
park consisting of gigantic natural sandstone formations so named by its discoverers because it was reminiscent of a beer
garden with god-sized benches and tables. The Cog Railway has been taking visitors to the 14,000 foot high summit since
1891, and as you can imagine, the scenery is outrageous. As with all attractions and small villages in and around Colorado
Springs, the most memorable part of your experience will be the journey itself and the incredible view along the way.
